After conducting a specific survey, you can then take the next step forward in engaging with respondents from the survey by creating a "smart group" of registered users on the platform. Current survey tools available on platform allow users to take the survey on the platform but are not fully integrated to allow you to create smart groups yourself.

If you are using our In-platform survey tool:

  1. You can have easy access to who participated in your survey by downloading the survey results to get the information of the author of the submissions (if the author is registered on the platform and did not participate anonymously)

  2. You can also create a smart group using this condition: "contributed to project" > "posted an input" > [select project]

If you are using Typeform:

  1. Contact support@citizenlab.co with a link to the typeform survey OR a link to the project.

  2. We will then create the smart group for you on the platform and notify you as soon as possible.

If you are using Google Forms:

  1. Include a question on the survey to collect information about the respondent such as their name or email address (preferably).

  2. Contact support@citizenlab.co with the list or spreadsheet of user emails and names, so we can cross-check the respondents with the respective users on the platform

  3. We will then create the smart group for you on the platform and notify you as soon as possible.
