Do you get an error message when registering on the platform, or when resetting your password? In this article, we look at the most common causes and show you how to solve them quickly.

1. Problems with registration

If you receive an error message saying that your e-mail address is already taken by a pending invitation, this means that an invitation has been sent from the platform to your e-mail address. This invitation contains a link with which you should first accept, before you can complete your registration.

If you have not received this email, it has probably ended up in your spam box. If you cannot find the e-mail there either, you can contact us for further instructions. Please find the contact details on the "About" page of your platform or reach out to support@citizenlab.co. Next, you will receive a message to help you complete your registration.

2. Problems logging in

If you have forgotten your password, you can click on 'Forgot password?' in the login screen. After you have entered your e-mail address, an e-mail with a reset link will be sent to that e-mail address. With this link you can set a new password.

Note: For security reasons, the reset link is valid for only 1 hour. If the link has expired, you can simply click on 'Forgot password?' in the login screen again, in order to generate a new reset link.

If you didn't received this email, it has probably ended up in your spam box. If you cannot find the e-mail there either or need help, please contact us via support@citizenlab.co.
