How to customize the font of your platform?
Use your own organization's font to ensure brand consistency across digital touchpoints.
Steps:
Contact support@govocal.com.
Include the name of the font.
Verify the font is available in the Adobe Fonts library, or send a custom CSS file if not.
How to upload and configure your logo?
Make your platform instantly recognizable with your organization’s logo.
Steps:
Navigate to Settings > Customize.
Scroll to the Logo section.
Upload your image file.
Note:
Minimum height: 45px.
Recommended: minimal text in logo.
Footer logo is linked to nav bar logo.
How to change the homepage banner?
Go to the Admin panel.
Navigate to Pages & Menu.
Click Edit next to “Home”.
Click Edit in the Hero module section.
Upload a banner image that reflects your organization or community.
Tips for choosing an image:
Aerial photo of your town or neighborhood.
A picture from a local event or citizen assembly.
A symbolic image that represents your values or mission.
Optional: Add a color overlay to the banner image
In the Hero module, look for the Image overlay color setting.
Choose a color that matches your platform’s theme.
Use the Overlay opacity slider to make the image more or less visible behind the color.
This is useful if:
Your image is too bright or distracting.
You want to unify the look with your platform colors
How to change the navigation bar colours?
The navigation bar color can’t be changed directly in the Admin panel.
To change it (e.g., to a dark background), contact our support team using the chat bubble in the bottom-right of the Admin panel.
How to add a favicon to your platform?
Your favicon is the small icon shown in the browser tab.
To update it:
Visit:
https://<your domain>/admin/faviconUpload your icon file.
How to embed ideas from the platform on other websites?
Use widgets, icons, or images to link your website to the platform and increase engagement.
Steps:
Go to Settings > Widgets.
Configure content, colors, CTA, and dimensions.
Preview and copy the generated HTML code.
Embed it on your website.
